I'm sitting next to this lamp now. Our friend Ed Reno built it for us in Florida - it's tripod-style base contains 4 shelves for displaying extra treasures. He found the lamp shade at the local animal league thrift shop. The wood he used was cut-off strips left over from wood scraps Tim used to salvage from the Disney dumpster -- so it actually coordinates with our other "official" Disney furniture. :)

morning ritual

This is what I see on cold November mornings, when Sparky & I come over to the barn before sunrise - our shadows cast by the front door light from the house, me having thrown on some old scarf & coat with large pockets filled with all my "stuff" so that I've got two hands free for the important tasks: holding my coffee, and dealing with the barn doors

time to get cozy & hunker down indoors (both me & the plants)
