I couldn't get my camera out quickly enough to capture this event in entirety: late in the afternoon, fast-moving dark beige-grey clouds covered the sky and brought a sudden cloudburst with heavy rain - but within 5 minutes they had moved on and the sun returned from the west, highlighting rain-glistened tips of bright yellow walnut leaves against the distant backdrop of grey; and creating a stunning double rainbow that stretched over the horizon with 2 complete arcs perfectly framing our view of HiTor, each earth-bound end seeming to emerge from hillsides of glorious autumn color - as usual, my pictures do not do it justice
