The coat is made of caramel colored heavy cotton canvas, lined with polar fleece (I think Sparky likes how soft & cozy it is inside) - Tim calls it his little Carhartt :)

Sunday's single-digit temperatures prompted me to finish a fun project I'd started earlier this winter: a coat for Sparky (who's natural coat is pretty short and thin). He didn't seem to mind as I fitted it to him while I worked on it, and when the finished coat was finally put on him he dug it! Luckily, the pattern (Simplicity 9520) sizing fits him almost perfectly, doesn't restrict his movement at all.
